1994  Great Power Co., Ltd. was founded and started manufacturing Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries.
1996  Set up the Ni-MH production line and started manufacturing Ni-MH Rechargeable batteries.
1998  Set up the Lithium batteries production line and started manufacturing Li-MnO2 and Li-SOCl2 batteries.
1999  Set up the Li-ion battery production line and started to produce Li-ion & Polymer Li-ion batteries. Great Power has become one of the few
         & battery manufacturers in the world that can mass-produce the four types of rechargeable batteries, namely Li-ion, Polymer Li-ion,
         Ni-MH, Ni-Cd and Lithium batteries.
2001  (a.)Mass-produced Ni-MH AA1800mAh batteries with foreign partners and this put us ahead of our domestic competitors by 12 to 18 months.

         (c.)Set up comprehensive experiment labs for high temperature and high drain batteries.
2002  High temperature & high drain batteries passed through for identification, and put into mass production.
2003  Mass-produced Ni-MH AA2300mAh & Ni-MH AAA850mAh high capacity batteries, with quality that is among the best in the world.
2003  The daily output of Great Power reaches 500,000 pieces for Ni-MH & Ni-Cd batteries; 100,000 pieces for Li-ion & Polymer Li-ion batteries;
         and 50,000 pieces for Lithium batteries.
2003  Successfully developed CR-V3 battery.
2004  Successfully developed the Li/FeS2 battery. This kind of battery has a very low self-discharge rate and a very high pulse capability
         (up to 2800mAh). It is designed for the nowadays high-tech market, such as the flash memory system used in digital cameras.
2004  Put out new rechargeable series, such as Ni-Mh RCR-V3, Li-ion RCR-V3, Li-ion RCR123A, which specially designed for digital cameras.
2004  Mass manufactured much higher capacity of Ni-MH AA2500mAh & Ni-MH AAA1000mAh, this high technology meet the thirsty of higher
         energy demands day by day, and dominate in domestic market.
